Workshops

Sessions designed around what your team needs to talk about

I don’t lecture. I design the conversation so the room does the work. Common topics: decision making under pressure, delegation, curiosity over reactivity, and learning to listen before you fix.

Why work with me

I have sat in the seat your team is sitting in

Three things sit behind every talk. An owner's twenty years, a coach's training, and a standing habit of chairing groups full of people who run companies.

Twenty years as an owner, then an exit

I co-founded Gotcha Covered, a wholesale linen and bedding company. I ran it for over twenty years and sold it in 2016, taking it from inception to a seven figure exit. When I talk about payroll, partnership, or the week before a deal closes, I am describing my own calendar.

Trained to ask, not to tell

I am an ICF trained professional coach, a Certified Change Guide, and certified in the xchange approach to group facilitation. That training is why my sessions do not stop at talking points. The room does the work.

In owner groups every month

I facilitate peer groups for EO, the Entrepreneurs' Organization, and for Long Angle. I hear what owners actually say once the door closes, which keeps the material current rather than borrowed from a book.

Signature sessions

Three sessions, each built around one question

Each session is built as a working conversation, sized to your group and adjusted after a call.

The Questions You Are Not Asking

A team full of good answers to the wrong question is still stuck.

  • Where the real question hides, and why the loudest problem is rarely it.
  • A short set of prompts to run before any decision that is hard to reverse.
  • Live practice, everyone rewrites the question they walked in with.

Formats: 90 minute workshop, or a half or full day working session.

The Invisible Line on Your P&L

Your emotional state is already priced into your results. This is where it shows up.

  • How pressure narrows the set of options a leader can even see.
  • The decisions owners sit on longest, and what the waiting costs in real money.
  • A short check to run on your own state before you decide anything expensive.

Formats: 90 minute workshop, or a half or full day working session.

The Inner Game of Exiting Your Business

The deal is the straightforward part. The owner is the hard part.

  • What an exit takes from an owner, over and above the terms of the sale.
  • The identity questions that never appear in a letter of intent.
  • What to sort out in yourself long before a buyer calls.

Formats: 90 minute workshop, or a half or full day working session.

Stuck isn’t a strategy. But it’s where most founders are making decisions from.

Any of these sessions can be delivered in any of these shapes. The longer the format, the more the group does and the less I talk.
