About Margalit Grunberger

Certified Entrepreneur Coach, Facilitator, Moderator, Speaker

I know what the job costs, because I paid it. That is the difference between coaching from a manual and coaching from a chair you have actually sat in.

The long version

Curiosity and deep listening
are my superpowers

They are gifts I inherited from my mother, an entrepreneur and Holocaust survivor who taught me that anything is possible when we challenge our limiting beliefs.

I believe our state of mind is an invisible line on our P&L statement. It directly impacts our decision making, our leadership, and our bottom-line results.

As an entrepreneur who grew and sold a seven-figure wholesale linen business, I understand firsthand the challenges of building, running, and letting go of a company. The Thursday before payroll after a bad month. The cost of keeping the wrong person because firing them would be awkward. How lonely the top of a small company can be, even a happy one.

How I work with you

Today I partner with founders, CEOs, and senior executives who are ready to raise their level of leadership while scaling their businesses. I serve as your trusted advisor and thought partner.

Together we challenge limiting beliefs, improve resilience under pressure, and build the mental agility you need to lead with confidence, clarity, and purpose. The coaching does not open with a framework. It opens with your actual situation, and with questions that are harder to dodge than the ones you ask yourself.

Where this comes from

A mother’s wisdom

My mother survived Auschwitz. What she passed on to me was an instruction, not a story: train our brains to see things differently. She did not mean pretending a hard thing is fine. She meant that the meaning you put on a situation is not fixed, and that changing it is a skill you can practice.

I have spent the rest of my life finding out how far that holds. It held in my own company. Neuroscience has since put a name to it.

It is the reason I believe thinking can be retrained rather than simply endured, and it is why the first thing I go after in a session is not your plan but the thinking underneath it.

What I believe

Margalitisms

Our emotional state is an invisible line on our P&L statement.
Margalit Grunberger
Our thoughts form our beliefs, our beliefs drive our actions and our actions determine our results.
Margalit Grunberger

Why that matters on a Tuesday

Nobody puts a line item for state of mind in the accounts, but it is in there. It shows up in who you hire, what you tolerate, the price you are willing to hold, and how many weeks you sit on the conversation you already know you have to have. Fix the thinking and the numbers move, in that order.

None of this requires you to become a different person. It requires you to catch your own thinking in the act, which is much easier with someone else in the room whose only job is to notice.

What we practice together

  • Taking responsibility. Not blame. Responsibility is the part you can still act on, and there is always some.
  • Curiosity over judgment. Judgment closes the question. Curiosity keeps it open long enough to learn something.
  • Kindness as a strength. Being kind and being direct are the same move when you do it properly. Vagueness is the unkind option.
  • Change is possible. Not as encouragement. As an observed fact, in my own life and in my clients' companies.

Training and track record

Credentials, plainly stated

Two certifications and one company. The certifications explain how a session is run. The company explains why the questions land where they do.

International Coaching Federation

ICF trained professional coach

Trained through the International Coaching Federation, the body that sets the professional standard and the code of ethics for the field. That means an agreed definition of what coaching is, what stays confidential, and where a coach refers out instead of pressing on.

xchange logo

Certified xchange Guide

Facilitation training carrying 34 ICF continuing coach education hours. It covers question design built on appreciative inquiry, and six facilitation choreographies: Connect, Interview, Crowdsource, Circles, Accelerator, and Ask/Give.

In practice it is the structure behind every group I run. A conversation that goes somewhere is not luck. It is design.

Gotcha Covered logo

Twenty years as an owner

Co-founder of Gotcha Covered, a wholesale linen and bedding company taken from inception to a seven figure exit in 2016. Orders, freight, factories, staff, cash flow, and every decision landing on my desk by lunchtime.
